Dr. Emmanuel Amoah
Dentist
Dr. Amoah earned his dental degree from the University of Ghana Dental School and completed his residency and fellowship in Advanced General Dentistry at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. With 25 years of experience, he focuses on creating beautiful smiles using today's most advanced tools and techniques. Patients appreciate his gentle and compassionate approach, as well as his commitment to precision and accuracy. Outside of work, Dr. Amoah enjoys fishing and golfing.
Dr. James Watkins
Dentist
Dr. Watkins is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry and has been practicing for over 40 years. He specializes in restorative, preventative, and cosmetic care and is known for providing attentive, patient-first treatment. He values the comprehensive care Amoah Dental provides under one roof. In his free time, Dr. Watkins enjoys playing golf and watching classic movies.

Dental Assistant
Born and raised in Hampton, VA, Asya has been in the dental field for 17 years and joined Amoah Dental in November 2024. She enjoys helping every patient leave with a brighter smile. Outside of work, you can catch her watching sports, especially her New York Giants.
Michelle Stephenson
Dental Hygienist
Michelle has worked in dentistry for over 25 years and has been with Amoah Dental since early 2024. Originally from New Mexico and now based in Virginia, she takes pride in getting to know each patient and helping them understand the "why" behind their care. When she's not working, she's busy with her three kids' sports schedules and relaxing at the beach.
Jennifer Arely Simpson
Dental Assistant
Originally from Honduras, Jennifer has been in dentistry for 3.5 years and with Amoah Dental for over a year. She loves the positive atmosphere and supportive team environment. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at the beach, going on outdoor adventures, and spending quality time with her family.

Office Manager
A Virginia native with over 30 years of experience in the dental field, Ursula has been with Amoah Dental for more than a year. She values the supportive team culture and is passionate about creating a smooth experience for every patient. Outside of work, she enjoys baking and spending time with her family.

Administrative Assistant
Gwendolyn has 17 years of experience in dental administration and has been part of the Amoah Dental team for 5 years. Originally from Powell's Point, NC, she supports the front office with energy and care. She enjoys serving in her church and giving back to the community.
